ARCOmadrid come with new proposals

The International Contemporary Art Fair, ARCO will celebrate its 30 anniversary from 16 to 20 February in Halls 8 and 10 at Feria de Madrid. The event will honor its three decades of existence with various activities such as commemorative exhibition that all visitors enjoy ARCOmadrid.

A total of 197 galleries at the fair will offer a tour of a perfect contrast of languages, media and art. The General Program, along with their segmentation ARCO40, combine the great masters of the twentieth century with the latest young designers.

Two proposals curated programs collect more breakthrough: SOLO PROJECTS, with stands dedicated to a single artist, this time will aim to create Latin American pop and Opening a new section that will offer European galleristic projects with less than eight years old.

The exhibition program is complemented by FOCUS RUSSIAN an eight galleries and ten institutions that present contemporary art in Russia as guest of the thirtieth edition of ARCO.

Another big news is the launch of the Application of ARCO for IPAD and iPhone, which can be downloaded for free on iTunes, and allow visitors to plan your visit and know virtually the works will be exhibited at the fair. Besides the exhibition, prominent professionals, intellectuals, artists, philosophers and foundations participate in round tables and meetings interesting. On the one hand, the Forum, which will develop conferences, focusing on Russia and Collectables, and other professional meetings.

In addition, ARCO 2011 Madrid will make a meeting point for contemporary art during the month of February, and will help consolidate the city as one of the great European cultural capitals.
