LIZZO textile brand, distributed exclusively for Spain by Elite Decor, presents its new collection 2012 inspired by the concepts most important decorative motifs of late, colors and textures that bring new ways of interpreting the world of design.
True to his philosophy, LIZZO takes inspiration from diverse cultures and cultural mixing that provide different civilizations and historical periods to launch their new collections. Through them, the company made an exquisite and personal review of some of the most important decorative concepts lately. The result is a wide range of fantastic motifs, colors and textures that enrich the new decorating trends and provide new ways of interpreting the world of design by combining elements of the past with contemporary pieces completely.
That quest for fusion comes ABERDEEN, classic and elegant collection with folk touches that takes its name from the Scottish town where is located the castle of Balmoral. The ornate decorations of the mansion and decorative paintings of the nineteenth century are the inspiration for this collection. It merged the Scottish tartan paintings, floral and Paisleys. Similarly, the ethnic mix and diversity of Indonesian culture as a melting pot of civilizations give name to JAVA, collection in which the traditional motifs of these islands, such as Ikat and songket, are captured with vibrant colors and natural tones.
It is in nature where they have found inspiration in developing the other two collections: ARIZONA and CAPRI. The first is immersed in the beauty of the rocky landscape of the Colorado Plateau, the topography and texture of the Sonoran Desert in the U.S., resulting in a modern and cosmopolitan collection dominated fabrics and bright light shades and patterns inspired in traditional culture and crafts of indigenous Americans.
Meanwhile, CAPRI is touring the rugged Amalfi coast Italy, whose landscapes of natural and earthy tones and subdued lighting that bathes inspire us to compose an elegant collection of curtains, fabrics composed of subtle transparencies and dusty tones, where the vintage-looking classical motifs alternating with stripes of Mediterranean flavor. Following this trail comes FORMENTERA, another collection of natural curtains of light textures and versatile, inspired by the beaches and coves of the Mediterranean Balearic Island. In contrast we find shiny satins, and Article VENUS, a classic look designed to present contemporary settings, thanks to the timeless, the richness and delicacy of silk.
