With an intense process of inquiry that line up as the emblem of his creation, Palazuelo (1915-2007) reflects on his work on the task of the artist around the lines of your dreams.
The thirty works on display in the Gallery Fernández-Braso consist of paintings, sculptures and drawings by the painter-poet held since 1959. With some unpublished pieces, all show the continuing work of this maker of lines and shapes, this imaginative introvert in the words of J. J. Tharrats austere, or the painter, in the words of Joan Miro, or the grammarian for Bernard Dorival.
In the words of Palazuelo, "The line looks and opens our vision, but at the same time, our ability to see increased thereby, promotes the vision of the line. When our dream, our vision, raves, our lines wander disoriented because they do not understand, and our dreams are lost in their wandering through countless directions of space: the labyrinth. The line can make the invisible visible. The line would become the vehicle of energy coming from the background of the material. energy takes shape, form, to shape the world. "
Palazuelo, intense and thoughtful artist, became one of the first of the Spanish in become abstract end of 1948, after passing through a certain heritage postcubista.
