Tokio Hotel Welcomes Us to Humanoid City

The German quartet Tokio Hotel will present its third studio album Humanoid, released in mid-October 2009, in Barcelona's Palau de Sant Jordi on April 5, 2010.
Welcome to Humanoid City is the name behind a tour that seeks to promote Tokio Hotel's third discographic production Humanoid, a futurism-inspired album that features science-fiction tracks and new electronic sounds. Thanks to this, this record represents a step forward in their musical career, an evolution in how they make music as they compose new songs. While the first single is "Automatic/Automatisch", the album also features tracks like "Noise/Komm", "Forever Now/Für immer Jetzt" and "Zoom into Me/Zoom", among others.
Tokio Hotel is a young pop-rock group comprised of vocalist Bill Kaulitz, twin-brother and guitarist Tom Kaulitz, bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schäfer. The group came together in 2001 under the name Devilish, which they proceeded to change to Tokio Hotel in 2003 after being signed by Sony.
Their first album Schrei was published in 2005, and two years later, in 2007, they released what would be their second studio album, entitled Zimmer 483. Later that same year, these two records would be merged to form Scream, a release that featured English-language tracks designed especially for an English speaking public. Finally, Humanoid, published in 2009, was released in both German and English versions.
The music that Tokio Hotel plays spans a number of genres; a commercial facet that likens them to singers such as Muse or Placebo. The group's aesthetics run from the singer's androgynous look and Visual Kei's cutting-edge style to the guitarist's association with hip-hop culture.
