Japan in the Gran Hotel Conde Duque

Sleeping in a Madrid landmark hotel, eat at their restaurant, enjoying magnificent halls or olvidoteca is one of the proposals of the luxurious Gran Hotel Conde Duque in Madrid. A proposal to which this summer is added sponsorship and venue of the courses and seminars on Japanese organized by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce-Japanese in Madrid.

This summer, the Gran Hotel Conde Duque becomes Ambassador of Japan presented an offer that exceeds every expectation. These courses allow both tourists and Spanish businessmen are aware of the potential of a destination like Japó n, both in culture and tourism as its commercial possibilitiess business.

The hotel will host both as sponsor and the willingness of its exclusive venue for imparting training courses organized by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce-Japanese in Madrid in July and the next September and October. For this month is already the curs Shodo or Japanese calligraphy, the art of writing Japanese characters on rice paper with ink and brush.

This course, supervised by a Shodo Association in Japan, with the official assessment of Japanese teachers, allowing students to be qualified by the Association upon completion of classes. After a break in August, during shodo will resume on September 5, at which also will start Japanese classes. And once into the fall, will start the courses sectoral, Targeted at the tourism business, and specialized seminars, focusing on cultural competency in exports to Japan in dealing with the Japanese.

The aim of these initiatives is to improve the knowledge we have of the country and contribute to better understand Japanese culture and traditional values.

The hotel will provide the students all the materials and support necessary for such activities.
